Women’s Yoga for Emotional Balance is a 6 week journey into the world of nervous system regulation, the essence of yin and emotional wisdom. Cultivating self love from the inside out to help you feel more grounded and connected to your intuition and inner wisdom even amidst rapid change and uncertainty. Through gentle but intentional practices we unravel the stress, overwhelm and burnout your body has been holding and welcome in a deeper connection to Self.
It’s time to come home to you and to stop feeling as if you, your emotions or your sensitivity are a burden, flaw or something to be fixed. This program is for women who are ready to feel more grounded & connected to their authentic SENSITIVE self.

What’s Included in this Program?
- 6 modules released online, one each week throughout the journey including video and audio
- Weekly 60 minutes downloadable guided embodiment practices (Yin Yoga, Gentle Movement & Mindfulness)
- Downloadable guided compassionate meditations
- New Home Play assignment tasks each week
- Worksheets to help you build a toolbox of your favourite resources & self care practices
- Access to a Closed Facebook group for connection, inspiration and sharing.
- Ongoing access to the course for 6 months to repeat as often as you like or to take your time working through each module.
What we’ll cover
During the 6 weeks of online learning you’ll be offered a supportive and nourishing space to look at how stress, anxiety, fear, shame, grief and anger manifest in the body. You’ll be guided in contemplative practices to help you understand how cultural opinions and expectations may have created additional stress and shame in the nervous system of the highly sensitive or empathic woman. And you’ll develop a toolbox of resources to help you navigate the world of emotions and sensitivity.

What You Can Expect?
Women’s Yoga for Emotional Balance gives you simple practical tools to support you in getting back into your body and connected to your authentic Sensitive self – calm, radiant and revitalised. Over the 6 weeks we’ll work through a Heart-Centred Framework to help you feel more:
- Grounded in your body & centred in the present
- Confident you have the resources to manage overwhelm, stress and disconnection
- Calm, content and connected (less frazzled, wired and nervy)
- Committed to establishing boundaries and self care practices that nurture your empathetic heart

You’ll also receive weekly Home Play assignments as you build your self care routine + a tool box of resources for moments of challenge or overwhelm.

Please note while yoga and meditation can be a very powerful tool for processing anxiety and moving through periods of depression and grief this is not a replacement for counselling or psychotherapy session and no medical advice will be provided. Recommendations to heart centred counsellors, psychotherapists and health professionals can be provided to support your journey if needed.

Who is your facilitator?
Hi, I’m Lani, the heart & voice behind heArt of Rest. A place where I help you step into your authentic sensitive self – calm, radiant and revitalised.
I believe your feminine sensitivity is a gift. A gift that is screaming to be seen, heard, loved & shared. But when the world we live in isn’t set up to appreciate your amazing gifts they can feel like a burden. After years of not being acknowledged you can be left feeling overwhelmed, uncomfortable and ashamed. But there is so much we can do to support your beautifully sensitive nervous system and harness the magic of your emotional wisdom.
I’m a qualified Yin and Hatha Yoga and Meditation instructor and I’ve spent the past 10 years studying and teaching Women’s embodiment practices, Yoga for Trauma, Tools for the Highly Sensitive Person, Grief Loss and Trauma Counselling, Psoas release, Sacred Sexuality and Tantra. Drawing from all of these tools my intention is to support you in embracing all of who you are and to shift stagnant energy, beliefs and holding patterns in your body so you can choose to receive life in it’s fullness.
After losing my mum to cancer at a young age I struggled against depression, stress, sensitivity, grief and exhaustion for a good chunk of my adult life. For as long as I could remember I was always told I was too sensitive and the message that stuck with me was “my emotions are bad and it’s not safe to express them”. So I did my best to keep them hidden playing the people pleaser and letting perfectionism control my life. Until eventually my body couldn’t carry the weight of all of the words and feelings I hadn’t expressed and I began to listen.
I am so grateful for all of the teachers, mentors and friends that offered safe passage for me to navigate my darkness and to learn to embrace it as much as my light. I’m so blessed to now be able to share this wisdom with you.
